Baby Feet

Below is my favorite image from our 20 week ultra sound! It was so amazing to get to see the little life growing inside me, too much to explain in words. These little feet and little toes were the first thing we saw on the screen and I think it's quite appropriate to direct you who are reading to this poem I wrote last April 18th. Our Baby is due this April 16th according to one doctor and 20th according to another. So I'm going to say the 18th, which was my original estimation anyway and I enjoy knowing that what I wrote on April 18th of 08 might just have been about our little miracle to be born a year later. It sure makes more sense to me today than it did then. Read it here: By The Feet of a Little One.

there are not many things in the world cuter than baby feet...that poem has to be about your little one :) by the way, didn't know if you knew matt & i moved to the nashville area (murfreesboro) a couple weeks ago so maybe we'll have to stop by sometime to say hi :) you live in the same neighborhood as some of matt's good college friends, small world!

hope you're doing well!

Pretty crazy, huh? And it only gets wierder and even cooler. They smile, then the roll over, they notice when you leave the room (and don't particularly like it), then they sit up and are determined to get around. And it all starts with the little feet inside you.

wow! i work at a pregnancy resource center and we offer free sonograms to those who qualify, so i often get to be the observer for clients when they get the sonograms - it is the most amazing experience, and i'm not even a mom! i can't imagine how cool it was for you to see your baby on the ultrasounds! this is so exciting!

and by the way, i really loved the poem. how apropos that your wrote it a year before you're due!

so...twenty weeks.... did you find out if its a boy or a girl? and are you going to wait to announce it to the blogland after birth? :)

You stopped by our church in Dallas (Fellowship Bible) a while back. It was likely at the invitation of Sammy Davenport (he's leaving the church in a month). My wife and I got a few of your CDs at the church and listened to them non-stop on a number of road trips we've had in the last year for fundraising. We've finally arrived on the 'field' in Kenya/Sudan. We had our first girl about 11 months ago. Your Tanzania song rings true to our ears, especially my wife. I wish we could get your CD over here, but I can't seem to find the Best Buy :-) I'll just have to settle for the digital download through iTunes in a few months. Let us know if you ever come to E. Africa! Check out my friends in Nashville, Jackson Waters. They were with Word Records, but just went indy.
