By His Wounds

Isaiah 53:5
He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.

1 Peter 2:24
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

I love that verse from Isaiah. And the weird thing is that I was just reading 1 Peter 2:24, because my Bible calendar had 1 Peter 2:21 on it and I just looked up the verse. Hehe.

Hope you are doing well, Alli! I've been listening to your new music and I can't wait for your CD. I especially love "I Caught Sight" and "Don't Wash Your Hands of Me." Is your album going to be on iTunes too?

Thanks so much for the interview last March! Jamie and I recently published the article in our school newspaper, and right now we're querying other publications. I was also wondering if I could use quotes from your interview and photos from your MySpace on my make-a-difference blog. I'd love to cover your Ecuador experience on it. My blog is called Teens with a Vision and it appears on Blogspot, MySpace, and Facebook.

Anyways, I'm having lots of fun reading your blog (Oso is adorable!), and I hope you have an amazing Easter!
